Over these 28 days, we are setting aside daily time to seek God together as a church.
In Acts 2:42, the early church devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, to fellowship, to the breaking of bread, and to prayer. They didn’t have every answer, but they knew Who to look to.
During our Devoted series, we want to match our learning with living. We’re coming to God with hearts and hands open, saying, “Whatever You want to do in me, in my family, in our church, in our city, in the world… we are ready.”
Whether you’ve prayed for years or you’re just starting, this is for all of us. Let’s seek Him together. Let’s listen for His voice. God, have Your way in me. Have Your way in us.
Devoted Life Rhythm
During our 28 Days of Prayer, each morning you’ll receive a devotional built around three simple movements. This rhythm will help you not only pray, but truly engage with God throughout your day.
1. HEAR FROM GOD — Verse
Start with God’s Word. Read the day’s Scripture slowly, paying attention to words or phrases that stand out. Ask the Holy Spirit to open your heart and help you understand what He’s saying.
“The Lord speaks to us primarily through His Word. The first step in prayer is listening to what He has already spoken.”
2. ENGAGE WITH GOD — Devo
Read the short devotional thought connected to the verse. Let it connect Scripture to your real life. Use it to reflect on who God is, what He’s done, and what He’s calling you to do.
“Prayer isn’t just speaking but it’s responding. When we engage with God, we allow His truth to shape our thinking, our feelings, and our actions.”
3. PRAY TO GOD — Prayer Prompt
Use the day’s prayer prompt to respond to what God has shown you. This may be a prayer of praise, confession, thanksgiving, or a request. You can pray in your own words, or write your prayer down.
“Prayer is a conversation with the One who hears, loves, and leads you. Respond to Him personally and specifically.”
4. LIVE FOR GOD — Challenge
End by considering one way you can live out what God has shown you today. Ask yourself: How can I put this into practice? What step of faith, act of obedience, or moment of trust can I take? Write down your reflection or challenge yourself to share it with someone. Let God’s Word shape not only your thoughts, but your actions.
“God’s Word was never meant to stop at information but to lead to transformation. Faith is lived out when we put His truth into practice.”
