Missions
To be a Sending Church
Jesus calls us to make disciples of every nation. At Renovation, our mission is to ‘know God and make Him known’ by praying for the unreached, supporting global/local ministries, and saying yes when He calls us to go.
You are invited to stay consistently engaged in bringing the gospel to the ends of the earth. There are over three billion people who still have no access to Scripture and no church in their community (Matthew 28:19-20, Acts 1:8, Romans 15:20). Together, we can take the hope of Jesus to those who have never heard it.
Local Missions Supported at Renovation
-
The PRC is an organization that helps to make choosing life easier for women in our community. They provide services, resources, education, and support to mothers of every background.
-
Pivotal Point works with individuals facing a housing crisis. They provide temporary housing as well as structure and accountability to help take an individual or family from homeless to homed and thriving. They focus on doing this through a faith based lens and recruit churches as partners in creating stability for individuals facing housing crises.
-
Sisters of Solace is an organization that works with women who have experienced traumatic events such as human trafficking, drug and alcohol addiction, mental instability and criminal charges to change the course of their life. They have a 2 year program where they focus on the “lavish love” of Christ to transform women's living situations, educate them, and train them in job readiness so they can stand on their own two feet when they graduate from the program. They also perform follow up with women who have graduated.
-
Community Missions focuses on housing and educating homeless men through their Judah House and House of Haven. They also provide immediate shelter for those in need through My Brother House which is a 24 hour shelter with sections for men and women. This is currently one of the only locations for women to receive shelter if they’re on the street. We do not provide monthly support for them but instead focus our attention on ministering and feeding the homeless and overlooked through serve days.
-
Open Door Food Kitchen is a food kitchen that serves lunch every day for all who are homeless or in a food crisis. They serve around 200 people each day within the community. We do not provide monthly support for them but instead focus our attention on ministering and feeding the homeless and overlooked through serve days.
